• New
site structure:
This
archive will remain until I get all the transfers complete,
and will be available at: art.georgecoghill.com
(note the "art" instead of "www"). You
should see it up in your address bar.
If
you are looking for my current illustration portfolio, just
use the standard www.georgecoghill.com.
If you are looking for my design portfolio, visit: design.georgecoghill.com
My abstract oil paintings will be now located
at: fineart.georgecoghill.com (not
up yet)
Lastly, this site will remain as an achive and can be accessed
at: art.georgecoghill.com
Why
have I made this so complicated? I want to maintain a porfolio
for my illustration work that emphasizes and showcases it.
I feel this is my strongest talent, and it's what I really
enjoy doing the most. However, I do have my design work,
and I want to keep that separate from the illustration work.
It's difficult to convince a potential client that you can
handle their corporate identity package when you have robots
and monsters all over your website :)
I
feel as if my current site is a bit schizophrenic, as my
corporate work does not fit in with my illustration work.
I do not currently have enough design work that requires
a cartoon look, and want to put the best foot forward for
each type of client.
As
I mentioned, this site will remain, as there is much art
here that will not be featured on the other websites.

I will be doing a cartoon for a new bi-monthly disc golf magazine,
appropriately entitled Disc
Golf Magazine. Once I have more details as to when the next

Just finished up a website redesign for buffetguide.com,
an online search portal for buffet fanatics (you know who you
are!) who are out on the road.
•
Wow! The new site is finally finished! Mosy of the work went on
behind the scenes, but there's a slight update to the look and
the keywords were optimized. There's also some new work on the
site in the illustration and design sections. Be sure to check
out the new links section for all
kinds of timewasting pleasure
