This illustration was really nothing more than a fun exercise "cartoonifying" some of the Mayan-esque abstract machinery designs I had been doing at the time. Gave all of the elements a more 3-dimensional, cartoon feel and threw a cigar in the mouth for good measure. The drawing was done with a Uni-Ball ink pen, and a little saliva was used to try some blending once the ink was a bit dry. |
