The 'Book a Bartender' promotional flyer was designed as an in-house promotion for local Kent, Ohio watering hole the Zephyr Pub. The owner wanted to emphasize and enhance a growing service he offered where the second floor of the Zephyr Pub could be reserved for provate parties. While enjoying success with the program, he wanted an eye-catching promotional poster to display throughout his bar to advertise the offering. The concept originated with a series of initial sketches to work out the positioning of the beer and the bartender. The concept of an 'in your facr' beer bottle with the 'Book a Bartender' slogan was there from the beginning. After working out the details of the sketch, the final drawing was scanned and used as a template in Adobe illustrator where the linework and coloring was done, as well as the lettering.
