Original t-shirt illustration & design for online mail order catalog company What on Earth of Hudson, Ohio. The t-shirt series I have been involved with are the continuing line of international pub t-shirts. What on Earth supplies the name of the bar and the country in which it is located, and the artist is given the task of developing the design.

The Black Cat Bar design was developed with a nod to a jazzy '50's style nightclub/city skyline, incorporating shades of blues to reflect a club atmosphere, and yellow highlights to subtly give the notion of moonlight or neon without being to garish. The cat was conceptualized from the start as, you guessed it, a 'hep cat', complete with fedora and black sunglasses that would feel right at home with a zoot suit.
