This drawing is a more digestible version of the many tangled organic mosaics of eyes, mouths, claws and bones that dominated many of my drawings and sketchbooks for years.

This piece explores the idea of making a semi-recognizable, albeit surreal and deformed 'head' using the style of the organic mosaics. The piece was designed to give a surreal and atmospheric sense of being scrutinized by an alternate life form.
